By accessing or using the Service, including installing the Sumrify Chrome extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service.

‍You must be at least 13 years old or the minimum age required in your country, have a valid Google account, and be located in a country where the Service is available. By using Sumrify, you confirm that you meet these criteria.

‍Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your data, including YouTube usage data and any summary results. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

‍Use of AI and Accuracy DisclaimerSumrify uses AI technologies (such as language models) to generate summaries based on publicly available video content.These summaries are automatically generated and may not be fully accurate, complete, or contextually appropriate.Sumrify evolves alongside advancements in artificial intelligence. We commit to continuously improving transparency, accuracy, and ethical standards of AI-generated content. However, rapid evolution of models may occasionally cause unexpected results, which users should report to support@sumrify.app.
‍We recommend that users independently verify important information.Sumrify is not liable for errors, omissions, or misinterpretations in AI outputs.

‍User Conduct
‍You agree not to:Use Sumrify to violate any laws or third-party rights.Use or submit content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or violates community standards (e.g. hate speech, misinformation, etc.).Reverse engineer, copy, resell or redistribute Sumrify without authorization.Misuse may lead to account suspension, access restriction, or legal action.

‍Intellectual Property Rights
‍All Sumrify code, branding, and service features are owned by Rational Expressions Inc.Generated summaries may be based on third-party content (e.g. YouTube videos). Users are responsible for ensuring their use complies with copyright law and YouTube’s terms of service.Sumrify is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.

‍Browser Extension Terms
‍By installing the Sumrify browser extension, you authorize it to access tabs and content on youtube.com pages to perform summarization.
Sumrify does not collect or store your browsing history outside of YouTube.

‍Third-Party Services
‍Sumrify interacts with third-party platforms like YouTube, Google, and browser APIs.You must comply with their terms of service. We are not responsible for their policies, outages, or actions that affect Sumrify functionality.Sumrify is distributed via the Chrome Web Store and relies on YouTube’s public platform for input. You agree not to use Sumrify in a way that violates Google Chrome’s or YouTube’s terms of service. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or YouTube.

‍Premium Subscriptions and Refunds
‍Sumrify offers paid plans with additional features (e.g., longer summaries, priority processing).You may cancel at any time. Refunds may be issued within 30 days of purchase, subject to a pro-rated amount for used time.

‍Modifications and Termination
‍We may update, limit, or suspend features, with or without notice. You may discontinue use at any time. Termination may result in deletion of user data and summaries.

‍Limitation of Liability

‍Force Majeure
‍Sumrify shall not be liable for delays or failure due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g., internet outages, legal restrictions, YouTube API changes, AI API failures, etc.).

‍Email Consent and Communications
‍By signing up, you consent to receive transactional and occasional promotional emails.You can unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in the email.

‍Dispute Resolution
‍Any dispute shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in the state of Delaware, USA. You waive your right to a class action.

‍Changes to the Terms
‍We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of Sumrify implies acceptance of the updated Terms.

‍Severability
‍If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These Terms supersede any prior agreements between you and Sumrify.

‍You may not assign your rights under these Terms without prior written consent. Headings are for convenience only. The relationship between you and Sumrify is that of independent contractors.
